We are a creative event planning team that is passionate about parties (and bourbon).

After meeting in college, we each pursued careers in the event industry. We came together in 2019 to further our vision of bringing people together in an organized fashion while still having fun. The mission of Bourbon City Events is to create innovative events through organization, collaboration and originality.

  • Lauren Goodhart

    Lauren is forward thinking and enthusiastic about events. Lauren lives in Lexington and has worked in the event and hospitality industry for over ten years. She has an eye for detail and loves the creative details for events. She likes going to UK games and planning parties of her own. Recent bride in 2021 and new mom!

  • Lydia Wade

    Lydia is an organized planner with over ten years experience in the event industry. Lydia has a wealth of wedding knowledge from years working with venues and other vendors. She is great with handling the task at hand and loves a good list. Lydia has experience in corporate event planning, including planning conferences. She likes binging her favorite shows and traveling with her family!
